Minimum requirements

Graduate (Bachelor’s degree; Aviation/Science/Arts). 8–12years of relevant experience in Flight Operations / Training & Licensing, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial role. Prior experience in airlines/aviation industry (crew training, rostering, or operations) Knowledge of DGCA regulations and aviation compliance. Expertise in Flight Operations, Training & Licensing, and Crew Scheduling. Proficiency in MIS, Advanced Excel, VBA Automation, and reporting tools. Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional coordination skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and monitor ground, simulator, and line training for Pilots, Cabin Crew, Ground Instructors, and Flight Dispatchers. Maintain and update pilot folders with complete training and qualification records as per DGCA standards. Ensure all crew licenses, medicals, and proficiency checks are current, valid, and conducted within stipulated timelines. Develop and update training policies and procedures in compliance with DGCA regulations and incorporate changes into the Operations Manual. Coordinate with Crew Scheduling and Rostering teams to ensure timely execution of training requirements and avoid violations. Maintain accurate records, MIS reports, and dashboards for audits, regulatory inspections, and management reviews. Ensure optimum utilization of training resources, including simulators and instructors, to maximize operational efficiency. Liaise with DGCA and other regulatory bodies for license issuance/renewals, medicals, endorsements, and compliance audits. Conduct periodic data analysis, KPI tracking, and presentations to management. Provide support to HR for hiring and onboarding of crew members and trainers.
