Minimum requirements
He / She will be responsible for all the sales, business development, sales operations within the designated region to achieve revenue targets and expand the airline's market presence. This strategic role involves developing and executing effective sales plans, managing key client relationships (including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and OTAs) & to maximize the profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales: Accountable for generating the sales from the assigned territory.
Strategy and Planning: Develop, implement effective sales strategies, and action plans tailored for the given market dynamics to achieve sales and revenue goals.
Business Development & Account Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and distribution partners.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the channel partner base and market share within the region.
Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and incentive programs in line with company guidelines.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies accordingly.
Prepare and present regular, detailed sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
Provide market intelligence to the revenue management and pricing teams to optimize route performance and promotional offers.
Compliance and Operations:
Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve customer issues promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
A) Must have:
1. A bachelor degree in any field. Master's degree being advantageous.
2. Candidates should have relevant field sales experience of at least 5 yrs or more.
B) Good to have:
3. A proven history of achieving sales goals and increasing revenue in Airlines, Travel, Hospitality would be an added advantage.
4. Understanding of airline distribution channels and corporate travel.
5. Key skills include leadership, team management, interpersonal communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Strategic thinking, commercial understanding, and the ability to analyze sales data are important. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is expected. Knowledge of the local Gujarat market and willingness to travel within the region are essential.
