Minimum requirements

Job Location:- Banglore / Hyderabad / Belgaum/Nashik • 3 years ab-initio AME course approved by DGCA / Degree/ Diploma in Science/ Engineering/ AME / Degree in B.Sc. (AME). • At least three years of aviation experience out of which 2 years in Stores. stores. • CAR 66 License in Category B1 (Type rated on the aircraft for which authorization is sought) • Completed required Trainings as per ETM • Shall have 5 years’ total aircraft maintenance experience. • Shall have undergone training on weight & balance computations on Type of aircraft conducted by OEM/ OEM Approved Agency / Approved person holding approval for more than 2 years or holder of weighing authorization issued by earlier CAR 145 Organization or by DGCA. • Must have associated for at least 2 computation/re-computation on type of Aircraft under supervision of approved authorized person.

Key Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of store inspector are as follows: 1. Monitoring Environmental control (temperature and humidity) including cleanliness of the stores. 2. Maintain and preserve all records in respect of stores inspection as per current CARs. 3. Issue Acceptance tag / Quarantine tag / Rejection note for new components when received from supplier. Quarantine the discrepant material in the Quarantine Stores. 4. Advise Purchase Section of the discrepant material for their disposal action, including return of material to the supplier. 5. Carry out surveillance/spot check under their area of functioning to ensure the following: • All components stored in the Star Air warehouse are from approved sources, packed properly, and have the necessary documentary evidence to prove its airworthiness standard. • Inflammable stock such as oil, grease, paints, and thinners, are stored separately and observe all safety precaution. • Components requiring cold storage are stored in controlled atmosphere. • Monitor components that deteriorate due to calendar period such as rubber items and consumables those have very limited shelf life such as sealants and to ensure that they are issued to service on the basis of “FIRST IN, FIRST OUT”. • Stores personnel removes the components whose storage life has expired from bonded store. • Electro-Static Discharge Devices (ESD) components are stored as per regulation. • Raw materials and aircraft components are stored in a a satisfactory manner so as not to cause damages resulting in their rejection. 6. Report any safety related issues to Safety officer /Dy. Quality Manager for necessary corrective and preventive action 7. All other specific or general responsibilities as assigned by Quality Manager. 8. To ensure that aircraft parts / components / material received in the store are accompanied with appropriate airworthiness/ serviceability certificate as applicable (DGCA CA Form 1/ FAA 8130/ EASA Form 1/ COC)
