Minimum requirements

Knowledge in Indian Aviation Regulations. 5. Knowledge of navigating customer support. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with aviation professionals and to obtain or clarify information. 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Experience: At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a position that exercised operational control in the aviation industry sector. Qualification: 1. Dynamic individual with exceptional organizational, management, and communication skills to ensure efficient and effective operations. 2. BE/ B. Tech, Previous experience as an Operations Manager or CPL.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure safe operations and compliance with the regulations. 2. Develop, implement and enforce operational control standards, policies and procedures pertaining to the Flight Dispatch function, in keeping with safety requirements. 3. Develop and manage flight schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demands as well as ensuring that the crew scheduling complies with flight and duty time regulations. 4. Provide day-to-day administrative, functional and technical and strategic direction as per the business plan to the Flight Dispatch team. 5. Prepare the operating and capital expenditure budgets relative to Flight Dispatch. 6. Maintain appropriate flight operations records, flight support records and other reporting requirements. 7. Direct and execute flight operations and pilot training programs with the Chief Pilot, ensuring compliance according to regulatory guidelines. 8. Ensure that aeronautical information affecting the safety of flight is received and actioned in a timely manner. Confirm the timely dissemination of safety information, both internal and external, in conjunction with the flight safety program. 9. Provide flight operational support through Flight Dispatch services including, but not limited to, Flight Planning, Flight Watch, Weather Briefing, and communications as required by those applicable sections of the Operation Manual. 10. Involve close collaboration with the Director of Maintenance to monitor aircraft status and anticipate downtime. 11. Liaison with external agencies which may affect operations co-ordination.
