Minimum requirements
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Human Resources, or related field required
4+ Years of relevant experience required with current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS and MS Office (especially Excel)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle all staff related expenses, reimbursements, accounting and payments.
Key Responsibilities
Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Verify, account and pay all staff related expenses.
Account & process all station expenses and reimbursements.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
